General Questions

In order to submit a request for clinical trial data, please follow the steps below:

  • Log in to the system with your user credentials
  • Select New Request from the left navigation panel
  • Complete the Data Request form and submit the request

Note: You will be required to complete all entries of the form, which will take approximately 15-30 minutes. Please compile all required information before you begin. All information must be completed before you can submit. So, we've created a Preliminary Form. (Download form here)

Select the "Register" button from the login screen and complete the fields. Once you register, you will be able to submit and view your Data Requests. Note that there is a password requirement of:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Must include at least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 numeric, and 1 symbol character
Once a data request is submitted, it will display under "My Requests". To edit, select "My Requests" from the left navigation panel and click on the pencil icon next to the request you want to edit. The Edit Request form will display with previously submitted data. You will be able to update/add data and resubmit.
There are two ways to upload multiple attachments to a request. The first is to add all relevant documents to a zip file and upload the zip file as one attachment. The second is to add additional attachments after the initial submission of the request. Once a data request is submitted, it will display under "My Requests". To edit, select "My Requests" from the left navigation panel and click on the pencil icon next to the request you want to edit. The Edit Request form will display where you can add additional attachments and resubmit.
You will receive an e-mail (to the email account you specified in your profile) stating that a message has been received. To view messages, log in to the system and view your message by selecting the envelope icon from the "My Requests" page.
To view request status, click on "My Requests" in the left navigation panel. The "Status" column will display the status for each request you submitted.
An initial status update of the request will take approximately thirty (30) days after the request`s submission date.
Click on "My Requests" in the left navigation panel and send a message stating the reason for cancelling the request.
To submit a change in the Research Team, click on ‘My Requests’ in the left navigation panel and send a message notifying AstraZeneca of the change with the new Research Team member’s information.

If you have technical trouble submitting a request through the AstraZeneca Data Request Portal, please send an email describing the issue and including a screen shot of your error to Data-Request-Portal-Technical-Support@AstraZeneca.com. Please note that you will NOT receive a reply from this support group on any non-technical inquires sent to this email address. Inquiries around status and progress of your data request must be managed via the Data Request Portal.
